Which of these is more likely to be true?
That the universal disdain for LSU is all because of a massive conspiracy which all the networks and media personnel are part of.
Or the universal disdain for LSU is because of the decisions LSU makes and the way their fans act.
I don’t think most LSU fans are able to understand, or at least able to accept, that the last 6 years have been a series of high profile black eyes for LSU.
The title IX settlement. The class action lawsuit from former LSU athletes documenting the athletic department wide institutionalized culture of sexual harassment and assault. The Les Miles banishment from college football from his time at LSU. The Ausberry rebuke and suspension. The Will Wade “damn strong offer” recording. The reaction of LSU fans to attack everyone in response. The show cause issued to Wade. The way they fired Orgeron, and his subsequent statement “what time do you want me to leave and what door do you want me out of, brother?" Kim Mulkey being Kim Mulkey. Angel Reese being Angel Reese. The Brian Kelly fake accent clip. The Brian Kelly buyout debacle. Hiring an AD that the school had previously suspended for covering up sexual assault. The way LSU hired a fellow SEC coach from a playoff bound SEC program. All the baggage the guy already carried - fired at an airport by a blue blood, leaving Tennessee like a thief in the night, being fired by another blue blood a week before a national championship game, all the rumors of drugs, alcohol and whoring around (and there was a divorce in there to make it seem very plausible). The way Lane Kiffin targetted Ole Miss players to transfer. The Vanity Fair interview. Rehiring former fired head coaches Johnny Jones, Ed Orgeron, and Will Wade. Reaching out to players on NFL preseason teams about transferring to LSU. The open revolt LSU is now staging against the SEC.
LSU fans are too close to LSU to see it clearly. All they see if purple and gold.
They can’t understand why everyone else sees LSU as John Wayne Gacy - a clown show, but also a serial rapist and killer.

those kids weren't scewed by the NCAA...kids been leaving early for the draft for 15 years now. Some make it some don't. That a choice they made knowing the rules are once you declare for the draft thats it.
Sanky did nothing different than other conferences did about this matter. He also had unanimous voting on not allowing it and all but one voted in favor of the punishment. LSU president even voted for not allowing it.
So ff anyone's going to be crawfishing and bit off more than they can chew its LSU.

None of these kids left earlly for the draft. They didn't make a choice, they were told they were out of eligibility until suddenly, they weren't.
Support it or not, let's at least be honest about what happened.
