It's never been a rivarly. The media has been trying to make it a rivalry but we've only played about 12 years and they've won most of them. That doesn't make a rivalry. There's no fan excitement in playing them.

I wish we played OU more often.
Never understood why we haven't.
4.5/5 hours away from each other. That's closer than any of our SEC counterparts. But it just never happened.

Ole Miss is more of a rivalry than Missouri.

We’re excited Missouri fans have found someone else to annoy. I doubt Oklahoma fans care to have anything to do with Missouri, either.

They were in the big 8 together and actually have some history with them. The majority of our population has always been in the center of the state so most Arkansans never paid much attention to Missouri. They are like Australia I dont really care one way or another

Got heated to the point that both programs stopped playing each other for 20 years.

Actually it was not about national titles. The focus was the SWC titlle. From Barnhill's time on the 4 non conference games were to get ready for conference. Bowl games/trips were a reward for a good season.
