re: Missing 18 year old's body found on Horn Island - and ridiculous reactions.

what happened was he wondered away from the boat and there was probably 100 other boats there or more. Tried to make some new friends or tried to teach himself to swim or both. The friends weren't concerned where he went it's not their job to babysit him or run his life for him. He sank, and when it was time to leave, the friends thought he rode back with a new friend when they couldn't find him and thought he'd call from someone else's phone since he left his on their boat.

I know exactly what you mean and it's hard to answer what their mindset is. The main thing I'd look at is, if you look around in large crowds of people, men with nice frames outnumber females with nice frames by about 10 to 1 in the south. Females know this at least subconsciously and know many of these men like the "thick" look you're describing. Or, were thin when they met their man and let themselves go and the man doesn't care. Their doctors and friends and family also are telling them this looks good and healthy. Any middle aged woman you see now that looks good in a bikini either works out all the time, or has great genetics/ metabolism or doesn't eat much or all the above. Also all the fast food junk deals they see on tv and social media takes a toll. Spend a few hours with just about any female you just met and you're gonna stop for needless junk shacks or sugar drinks at some point even if they're thin.

I don't agree with that. I think players at Ole Miss turned on him b/c they realized he had an axe to grind against Arkansas . That's a hang up he had, ego. When he was coaching at Arkansas that was usually a good thing. Remember when no one had heard of Dexter McCluster until half way through the 2nd year when he ran for about 250 yards against Arkansas? Every time he took the ball he ran at least 5 yards to the sideline and Petrino had no way to prepare or stop him. If he had those 2 bad years at Arkansas he did at Ole Miss I could see making a change then but that should have been decided by play on the field not idiot fans that thought they could win more. Arkansas will never be more than "mediocre" in football. Running Nutt off after his last 2 years at Arkansas which isn't even a football school was probably the dumbest coaching move in the history of all sports.

Houston Nutt. He was despised by most of the fanbase and I do think it was time to move on, but 2012 onward, in hindsight, has made me much more aware of what a solid job he actually did. He'd have clunkers against bad teams and then pull off an insane upset, it was definitely frustrating, but he never fielded a team that would go Ofer in conference (at least at Arkansas).
For our generation (and i'm mid 40's), watching the rise of message boards starting around 2004-2005 up to his last year at Arkansas and how enough internet based fans banded together to run Nutt off was amazing. That's exactly what happened, the vocal internet fans ran him off. Then landed Petrino who carried the torch, then 12 years later had a chance to bring back a contrite Petrino and ran him off. I don't think the Arkansas fans wanna win, they just want a new coach every 3 years. Take out Nutt and Petrino's years, and Petrino won with Nutt's players plus some homegrown talent which they don't get anymore, you've got 2 coaches in 14 years with a winning SEC record and outside of them Arkansas is about 27% vs the SEC all time.

IDK how practical everyone carrying a pistol is but I do think we need to show outward respect for these blacks, albeit in person or social media. That might be why Liberals support them so much. There had to be some mitigating circumstance for that to happen. A lot of these people are mean as hell and they generally hate whites. Many by themselves or in 2's or 3's will be super nice to your face but they hate us out of jealousy

dreams tell you something but it's hard to know what. I usually have nightmares when my sleep quality is not very good for a few days due to stress. For instance if I wake up to piss at 4am but went to bed around 11, if I doze off wanting to wake up by 7 i might have a nightmare. Usually it's a real life situation I need to be aware of but I can't figure out what it is at the time.

The diaper theft part is irrelevant on the mother even if it was paid for or shoplifting. Sounds like the cops received a report they were stolen and headed that way. Why would that many cops show up at a shop lifting call anyway?

If you move to 1:24:50 there's a lot of similar circumstances in this case in Arkansas. The family of the deceased sued the police and the store and the police were dismissed from the suit .
When people run from the police or drive aggressively toward police unfortunately this stuff happens. The Renee Goode and Charles Starks cases illustrate that.

I didn't see this posted yet but wanted to get your thoughts. Stuttgart is a farming community of roughly 7700 of which 52% white and 42% black. Rumor is, a wealthy person put some money in to the pool to open it back up this summer and then this happened ;

re: Does the support of murderer, Karmello Anthony, by the black community
Posted by carguymatt on 6/7/26 at 10:14 pm to 1897
I don't think the support you're seeing now for him on social media represents the majority of black folks. Most black folk aren't really known for possessing elite common sense. The ones who started out taking his side believe he did kill in self defense b/c he's their people, and that's what his side says, and they believe he was attacked first b/c he's black. That's how they think in general. Social media is putting out a lot of day by day accounts of eye witness testimony and so far it doesn't look like self-defense. Sensible black people who follow social media or mainstream media realize even if they don't want to admit it a lot of their young people are violent. Talking out conflicts isn't always their forte. I don't think they are waiting back ready to revolt if he's convicted. They want another white cop to kill another black controversially so they can complain over that

I read all through the divorce records a couple nights ago. It'll be interesting to see how this ends up. She wanted full custody with him having the kids every other weekend. As they texted back and forth it was obvious he wanted joint custody. There's a few points I'd make based on what I read:
1.)Her attorney told his attorney in an email she was shocked the info got out to the newspaper about the racism.
2.)She had been telling him in texts after the divorce was filed that if he didn't agree to her terms regarding the kids she was going to let it be known he lied on his police application. At one point there was a reference to him using some substance he wasn't supposed to but that part was kinda vague. She said a couple times if that part got out, the ASP wouldn't like it and it would be on courtconnect and everyone could read it.
3.)It appears she blindsided everyone about the racism. If her attorney's knew, they were probably telling her to keep it hidden.
4.)His dad is high up in the chain of command at ASP, yet she referenced his attorney as a budget attorney which is interesting if the dad didn't step in and buy him a good attorney. Her attorney is very popular for divorce law around central arkansas.
5.)His racist texts typically came right after a real-life event he or his agency was connected to that involved minorities and crime. Or, some were in response to articles he was looking at of famous events around the country like the Daniel Penny verdict. He didn't have any known issues of racism on the job and from what I can tell was regarded as a good trooper. I'm sure by now someones FOI'd his files but there's nothing indicating he's been disciplined unless they can't due to he quit.
In my opinion it was pretty shitty of her to release this info b/c it doesn't benefit her when it comes to child support. This could have been kept quiet and she would have won custody and got a decent child support check. Most likely he'd of never been found to be racist on the job. How many cops out there think just like he texted his wife? Probably the vast majority.
Instead he'll probably never make more than half what he would have. The only thing I can say in her defense was maybe she didn't want her kids around a hateful guy half the time being raised like that. We don't know what her responses were to his texts. But correct me if i'm wrong b/c I'm not a legal scholar, wouldn't the court have suppressed all that discovery info if all parties agreed? If not, if she'd of just told him what she was planning to give to the newspaper, he probably would have agreed to her terms and settled out of court. Her attitude was if she didn't get her way people would find out about something else that would make his job in jeopardy, other than the racism

whats most interesting is the trooper's mic-up dash cam video on Youtube before the slaughter. The trooper appears to be getting orders or advice from a Game and Fish officer who's in Maumelle he says, which is about 30 minutes away and says he'll head that way when he's done loading a boat. Both of them are talking casually, not realizing the incident will go viral and they both show a lot of compassion for the geese and realization of possibility of a crash.
What's unsettling to me is the public's social media reaction when you consider the emotional people vs the common sense people.

I think the scamming and hacking is so popular the government can't hire enough people to even slow it down. The banks and credit cards have a decent handle on it but new fake merchants pop up probably by the minute. I've worked in payment and billing fraud for banks and credit unions (FIS), AT&T, and a utility company the last 20 years. All functions were a little different. Every day of my work life the last 20 years I've probably dealt with a handful of people who's been scammed one way or another as the reason I'm talking to them that day. When I was at FIS representing the banks and credit unions that's all I dealt with, the other jobs just encompass frequently.
The best thing to do is not answer the phones at all unless you know the number. Don't give information unless you know who your giving it to. Even as sophisticated as I am I downloaded a fake iphone app a couple years ago and tried to pay money to some fake Etsy thing I thought was promoting my products. The bank or Visa stopped it from the beginning

I doubt the hitters remember his name but we all remember it. I told my dad even if we beat LSU that first game, there's no way we beat Anderson the next game. BUT ,A lot of Razorback people are comparing our program to LSU asking and how we could reload so fast this year, and ya'll already finished. I need to check b/c I can't believe your not even going to the regionals.

Yea he was unhittable from what I could see. He's got better command than Doyle but Doyle throws a little harder. I watched Mike Trout down there several times before he got called up. Anderson will be good in MLB for a while probably.

If you're interested, I'm watching this free stream on my desktop on Bally Sports. I've never tried watching anything on Bally before. Can someone try to tune in to this and tell me if the speed of the frame is really bad up and down? When I say that I mean the pitch might start out at 150 mph and end up and 20 mph. All you have to do is put in your phone number and they send you a code .
