I doubt Cal is a bama fan anymore. Nate Oats is the most hated coach in the SEC (among other coaches). That and Bama is a bunch of cheaters and murderers. I'd be shocked if Cal still feels the same way he did back then.

So the University of Caliapri fans are making fun of Pope yet your coach says he’s the man for the job.

So which one is the idiot? The fans or the coach?

Kentucky botched that hire, no doubt. Also Pope seems like too "nice" of a guy (or without a good enough reputation) to handle a high-paid roster like he has now. He can't get them to play hard much of the time.

Having said that, Cal also had grown stale at Kentucky and a change was probably needed. Both of those things can (and are) true.

He is trolling when he says he is the man for the job. He legit says that about almost every coach.

I really am starting to feel bad for UK fans they are so bad in year two while both Arkansas and BYU are good

Before last night we had the same SEC record as The University of Calipari. You guys barely got by OK who, checks notes, is currently in last place.

In year one Pope set records at UK that Cal didn't even sniff, was a lock for the tournament the ENTIRE season, while The University of Calipari slid into the tournament with a win in their last game of the season.

Bless your heart.

Wow you are down bad. Let’s check notes here.

Kentucky is 14-7 (5-3) with an 8 point loss to rival Louisville, 17 point loss to Michigan State, 3 point loss to NC, 35 point loss to Gonzaga and 25 point loss to Vandy. You have beaten two ranked teams while losing bad to most of the good teams you played so far.

Arkansas - 16-5 (6-2) with a 3 point loss at Michigan State, 9 point loss to Duke, 9 point win against your rival Louisville, 7 point win against Texas Tech, 9 point loss against Houston, 11 point win against TN, 22 point loss against Auburn (yikes), 25 point win against Vandy.

Arkansas has one bad loss on the year against Auburn. Kentucky has been blown out 4 times and won’t even be getting a vote in the polls come Monday.

WTF records did Pope set? Sweet 16? Getting blown out by Arkansas at Kentucky? Arkansas making the same sweet 16?

You fools are down bad

Congrats. You are obsessed. Didn't figure we would see you again the way you embarrassed yourself in the last thread.

Same as The University of Calapari.

Except we didn't have any games handed to us.

Kansas LITERALLY handed you guys the game by having more turn overs than points in the last 4 minutes.

Since you two don't seem to be the brightest of the bunch, a reminder that a turn over is something Kansas did wrong and nothing you did right.

If not for that Cal would have continued his recent form of first round exits.

I did see a stat tonight, that we have now lost a games in January 3 times in thr last 6 years. This year with Pope and two years with Cal.
Before that, it had been 30 years since it happened.

We and Cal needed a change. Arkansas is the benefactor to give them some relevance.

Is Pope the guy? I'm not totally sure, but I think if they get a GM hired to make sure his talent evaluations are better, and we always have 3 point guards, then he could be. Time will tell.
