Very astute observation. You must be really smart.

QB Sacks through week 8

33 Byrum Brown Auburn (SEC)

Byrum Brown’s 33 sacks through eight games puts him on an historic pace for both his own career and college football history.

That is unbelievable. Brown has already surpassed Derrick Thomas' 27 sacks in 1988. I never watch auburn games, but I guess I'll start now to see Brown play.

Derrick Thomas would be jealous that Byrum has more sacks than him in a season with 5 games to play.

That's what I was thinking when I saw the original post and commented on it before reading the replies and seeing your post.

The Brown guy must be one hell of a player.

Derrick Thomas was 6'3" - 234 pounds at Alabama. He later put on another 10 pounds during much of his NFL career.

Byrum Brown is 6'3" - 232 pounds.

Not surprisingly, they are just about as close as you can get to identical in stature.

Seriously, but all accounts he’s a great kid, nimble athlete, and tough as a piece of shoe leather. He just holds the ball too long and his weird Kent Tekulve delivery gets a lot of balls batted down. And his OL is shite.

The offensive lines Derrick Thomas competed against weren't necessarily shitty, Derrick Thomas was just talented and overcame many offensive lines whether they were good or not.

This guy is probably the same way.

Bama is 15-2 in the last 17 years and LSU hasn't kept it within 10 points the last 3. Not sure that "daddy" status.

But Bama was beating LSU for about 100 years in a row at Red Stick before Saban was the coach at Alabama.

What are you talking about?

LSU has never kept it within 10 points of a Kalen DeBoer coached team. Who needs saving?

Aww...poor widdle fella. Doing his best to psych himself up for an Alabummer win against LSU that just won't happen this year. It's LSU's turn to take BTA on your Crimson Turds.

Hey, at least you are willing to admit LSU has been getting BTA for the last two decades - and really forever. I applaud you.

Well I appreciate the acknowledgement. I have no probably saying Alabama has beaten LSU many times the last several years...some in blowout fashion, some nail biters...but wins for Bama nonetheless.

Dammit, coonass, you bring up the past and then want other people to stop living in it. It's like you want the nutria rat and want to eat it too.

I noticed that you scared sissies changed the kickoff to 2:30 pm instead of a night game because Alabama feeds off the energy of Tiger Stadium at night.

It's not going to help though, Bama is still going to Roll.
