Stop the presses everyone! Moo State's won 1 in a row over LSU. Improved to 1-14 since 2000. Congrats!

Selling. I'm still picking AU to win the West. The last time I did that was '03 and we all know how that turned out. Hoping for the same results this year.

Honestly I am going to sell for right now. I think LSU splits the Auburn and State games and wins the rest at 7-1.

Now I am one that is big on the revenge factor, and both embarrassed LSU last season. LSU will be out for blood, and on paper LSU is pretty damn good. My only concern is Steele not having his 3-4 personnel and the always frustrating shite show that is LSU's passing game, but we have all the pieces in place on offense.

I like LSU going 10-3, splitting the State/Auburn games and going 2-2 in the November gauntlet

Look, I don't expect to change your mind or anything, because you're clearly trolling and actually believe LSU would prefer to beat aggy over beating Alabama.

Just think about the idiocy of that statement. I can't even say it out loud without laughing.

Don't let the posts on this board be the only thing you base your opinion. Use some common sense.

Ex: yall are new blood.

Another ex: yall just got Chavis, so it's still fresh. So here are lots of posts from both sides that rile up heated debate.

But get real, LSU doesn't consider anyone not named Alabama their super bowl. I hope the rivalry gets to that point one day, I really do. But it's not there as of today. Sorry.

Eta not to mention who do you think will be more hyped for LSU vs Aggy? The team with 4 wins in a row or the team with 4 losses in a row?

Hopefully this /troll

LSU may mix in some 3-4 this year, at times, but it can't be the base package. LSU isn't even close to the LB depth required to run it.

LSU will run a ton of 4-2-5 and nickle this year.

Any level-headed LSU fan isn't concerned about any one game anyways. I would never trade 12-1 with a loss to Bama for 10-3 but yippeeee we beat Alabama and A&M. frick that, i want trophies, not revenge for 1/9/12 or A&M winning five straight during LSU's worst 100 year stretch of football in the 90s

Oh I agree.

But Alabama is clearly the team that the majority of LSU fans want to beat on an annual basis.

Any aggy fan can just go look at the ticket prices to know what game matters most.

Right. It's basically going to be a patch work of his philosophy, though I know he likes the 4-2-5 too. Chavis left us pretty fricked at linebacker with Beckwith and a couple of raw athletes that still haven't improved

Absolutely. Plus, all trolling aside, everyone circles the biggest obstacle on their calendar. It's blatantly obvious it is Bama, and if A&M were to somehow switch roles, we'd move them up on the level of importance.

Bama is the historical #1 program, with a massive budget, obnoxious bandwagon base, has had the ball bounce their way to make 2007 LSU blush, and they're led by the most OCD perfectionist in the game. It's not a slight to A&M but envy and admiration of Bama and its status

Take a joke you fricking dimwit. Obviously Syracuse will be a cakewalk, but lets not act like a team with anemic quarterback capability will just waltz into Columbia and steal a W

Yeah, South Carolina is also the most mysterious team I can recall. Not even Carolina fans can give us a straight answer on how good or bad they'll be. They have some very nice strongpoints and some big question marks. And you're right, I'm sure Columbia can get loud as hell

I actually don't look at the aggy game any different than any other conference game. There was a time when I hated Florida. There was a time when I hated Tennessee. It's nothing special.

Of course if aggy were the best I'd circle them on the calendar. But that's not the case and won't be the case. But I don't have any extra hatred for them or their fans like I do Ole Miss and Bama.

Thinking someone is weird =/= super bowl. It takes more than that. Like, they occasionally have to win the game would be one example.

One of the best examples of when one team is fired up ready to play and the other is still trying to get their shite together.

I think it's a fun rivalry with all the alumni and Texas kids intertwined with the two schools, but I agree that I never even considered "hating" them until they joined the SEC.

Honestly I'm too young to have any animosity that way

Yup. I am not in the SEC circle jerk. Our brand speaks for itself, no need to cheer them on. They're our recruiting competition.

agreed. I have a lot of friends at UA (Arkansas), and I can't express how much more they hate us than we hate them. I love NWA and always enjoy the craziness of the series, but I can't say I would ever call them our primary rival either

Late 90s was dreadful to be an LSU fan in Tennessee

I am so tired of hearing MooState fans saying they are going to win. I guarantee they get blasted splooge style by Ed O and the Steele Curtain
