I've not heard Saban endorse him yet like he did Dooley. Saban said Dooley was doing a fantastic job at Tennessee as late as mid October this year.

I like what Butch has done so far but he hasn't done the most important thing yet, since he hasn't had the chance to. Hopefully he can coach as well as he can hype because I'm actually somewhat excited, which I didn't think was possible after the last 3 years.

Dude has done an unbelievable job with a crappy hand.
Having said that, the next two years would be lean even if he was Bear + Lombardi combined. However, I think UT has their guy - it just might take to year three to see it on the field.

OP was comparing Dooley to Butch. They played head to head. Dooley took one of Ut's worst teams ever and defeated Butch's Cincy team soundly. It's relevant.
It's you want to talk Saban, I can bring up his record at Bama against Ut if you want.
