Not sure why they'd do that, not like anyone is coming after him following a 2-10 season

I didn’t watch multiple time but oh yeah to the rest of it. I feel like I watched him walk all the way from Knoxville to Jonesboro.

Good for Butch. I hope he has great success at Arkansas State and in the future. He really grew and matured as a man and coach while at Alabama.

Did he? He was like 50 years old when he started at Alabama. I doubt a guy his age did a whole lot of growing and maturing 30 years in on the job.

Butch brought in some great players at Tennesseeand really just needs to learn a strictly hands off CEO approach as a head coach and go out and hire the best assistants like Fulmer did to suceed. I doubt his ego would let him do that though.

He was one of the absolute worst college coaches in D1 last year according to the metrics. He should be fricking fired... Not extended. This just wreaks of desparation by ASU.

Yep. No one has the capacity to learn and get better at their job at 50, especially while learning under the GOAT. I stand corrected.
