I don't love pick "the best" at a position. If I had to I would pick Fournette. Hurd is one of the best in the country.

I would pick Fournette, Cook, and a healthy Nick Chubb over Hurd without hesitation. That's not a knock on Jalen Hurd, it's that those 3 may make up the strongest RB draft class we've EVER seen. Any other year, Hurd would be a top tier elite back, but not this year.

Agreed. Crazy to think about all the running backs that Tennessee has produced over the years and Hurd will easily shatter the career rushing yardage record this year barring injury.

He's been playing with some pretty mediocre lines tho. If you watch his film, there are so many times where he should be stopped in the backfield but he rumbles for positive yards. I'd like to see a definitive Yards after contact stat.
