He probably warrants an acknowledgement for your defense but he was an absolute disaster on offense and anything you've accomplished this season on O is definitely Mac's doing.

He knows they can't afford to fire him. They're 14 out of 14 SEC teams in the reserve fund department.

He's talking about when you get to the point of plug and play aka Alabama level where you simply reload and rarely rely on younger players to start. He's not talking about it takes six to seven to win.

Yeah, many have came in and won many games in the first few years then proved to not be able to sustain the success due to recruiting, player evaluation, player development, attrition, etc.

Nutt, Muschamp, Miles, Spurrier, Malzahn, etc.

Butch is right. Rome wasn't built in a day.

The man overcame a 21 point deficit to beat one of the veteran SEC coaches, Mark Richt. Butch beat South Carolina and their new and energetic interim coach... Butch will likely beat the two time defending SECE champions, Mizzou. Butch also demolished Kentucky, who is coached by a defensive mastermind.

That's what you call progress. Brick by brick, Tennessee is back. If Butch isn't given a raise and extension at the end of the year, then Tennessee fans really are retarded hillbilly inbreds who are drinking the piss they're brewing up in those mountains.

While Dale's sincerity is always questionable. The fact remains it's about long term success, sustainability and well program building. The comments don't speak to the immediacy of any given season or individual team but rather the program itself.

Lesbo Lyle is not an SEC caliber coach. Dude is a complete clown who has been passed by Mac with a three year head start.

The purpose of Dale's quote is to denigrate Les Miles.

its still up in the air... Dobbs hasnt progressed this season like you all thought he would.... maybe that's bc of the dogshit OL and wasted WR talent... we'll see.

Butch can recruit... he just can't coach.

What is Auburn's excuse for finishing dead last in the SECW this season?

Butch has a chart telling him when to go for two, only he can't read it properly.

Thanks. I have a tendency to ignore the stupid parts of a statement if the broader point is accurate when it comes to posts on tRant. Denigrating Miles is flat out idiotic, imo.
