It’s looked good at times for a rookie this year, but the fact that the Dolphins kept pulling him out of games didn’t bode well as they realized in some of those games he was the problem, not the rest of the team.
If the dolphins know how to build an offense they will draft and trade for skilled players around Tua. A big IF at this point. Cincy has been so bad for so long at the management level that QBs worth their salt either get destroyed physically or jump ship at the first sign of free agency.

Smith is going to be a good pro but Burrow needs protection. He was running for his life all year. Injury felt inevitable.

They get it right when the pick is obvious about half the time

Burrow needs Penei more.
While it is obvious Cincinnati needs OL help desperately; why can't they use the huge amount of cap space they have to address that problem in free agency? It's also quite doubtful Sewell will be available at 5, and I don't think any other OL is really worth a top 5 pick. I'd personally rather see them spend money in free agency to get a proven OLman or two (or three) and address other needs in the draft.

Needs OL more than anything.

Sewell better be gone by then (I want the Fins to grab him). But Jeaux needs OL help first.

Put away last Summer's draft projections. No way Fields goes before Jones. And Lawrence may drop as well... he's tall, that's all.

I don't want any of our guys to end up in Cincinnati or Detroit.
Bad enough Jonah Williams got stuck there. He played very well for Cincy after returning from injury, but those two franchises stink. I guess Cleveland has slightly improved...but still not a place I like to see our guys end up.
Miami has the #3 and #18 picks in the draft. They should go Sewell at #3 and then best available WR at #18. Then they should package some picks with their early second to move back into the end of the first round and select Najee Harris.
Just not sure any of the top 3 WRs (Smith, Chase, Waddle) would fall to #18... probably unlikely. Maybe if they could move up to the 13-15 slot.

The Bengals did hire Frank Pollack, which does show some commitment to developing their OL.

I will say if DS6 ends up in Miami I'd be pumped. With Parker and Preston Williams both being big bodies out wide, DeVonta could do damage in the slot.

Gotta go OL. RBs/WRs are over-valued. There will always be some quality ones available in the next few rounds. Take OL, DL, CB, and QBs early.
