Unbeatable combo. Still a travesty that Pennington/Brown/Darby didn’t finish 1, 2, 3 for the Heisman.

Eye opener!!

Here’s one for the other eye!

Dsmith 105rec - 1641yds - 15.63per - 20TDs

Jefferson 105rec - 1,540yd - 13.87per - 18td

Those type numbers win the Heisman in 2020...SMH, way to go Covid

Can I vote for burrow/Jefferson?

There are no wrong answers here. I will say Smith's supporting WR cast was not as as strong as making what he did incredibly impressive. He deserved the Heisman.

Bama 2020 could play as a run first offense while LSU 2019 could not. Harris and Edwards-Helaire are two different kinds of running backs. Point being that all of these things make it hard to compare.

Mac/Smith

But let’s also give love to another great combo:

McCarron/Norwood

I was about to say - if I'm picking a 2019 LSU duo with the game on the line and I need a great route and a tough catch, I'm absolutely going with Jefferson.

Dude is nails.

From a pure football stand point Mac has a stronger arm. Smith is faster, a better route runner and a higher field IQ than jaymur Chase

Oh nice. What NFL team are you the GM for? Because the 32 Actual GM s for NFL teams rather Burrow than Jones. And I’m sure a few will rather chase than smith.

LSU fans should. Between the national championship and that final drive in the 2012 game, they smoked LSU. That was the point.

To be honest with you I just remember McCarton and Yeldon and I watch both those games from start to finish.

McCarron threw to Norwood on almost every play on that drive to get them into position for the Yeldon play.

Wasn’t memorable. I’m sure he was great just didn’t make an impression. That 2012 game killed me worse than the BCS championship to be honest with you.

If that’s the criteria then Burrow/Chase is the easy winner

Followed somewhat closely by Davey/Reed

Depends on who is on the O-line. Pitiful line like LSU, I’ll take Burrow. Best pocket awareness I’ve ever seen in college. Behind Bama’s line, Mac is good enough.

Chase or Smith. Both will win you the game.

If some of these draft projections are right, you may get your wish. Anyone up for burrow>smith next year?
