Nothing to take away from Burrow. Probably the best QB in the league.

Ohio State definitely did not win the natty after Burrow left.
He left on May 20, 2018.
In 2018 Clemson won
In 2019 LSU won
Ohio State did not make the playoffs at all in 2018
They lost in the semifinals in 2019

Significant blow to the chest like that can stop your heart. It’s rare but it does happen. Sure you have heard of people being killed by a baseball to the chest, etc.
