With all of the expansion talk around UT and OU joining the SEC and comments from all fanbases on expansion, realignment, etc, who would you add to the 10 pre-expansion teams to get to 16 and why?

7. Mississippi State
8. Ole Miss
9. Tennessee
10. Vanderbilt

Virginia Tech, UVA, A&M, Arkansas, South Car, Mizzouri.

Adding 2 VA schools is a far better branding/marketing move long term than another Texas team and irrelevant Oklahoma.

If Texas was as valuable as they think they are they wouldn’t be asking to join the league.

I think VT and NC State would fit in well, not so sure about UVA

frick Tech.

Now that's out of the way, a geographically tight 16 team conference would (with a 9 or 10 game conference schedule) facilitate and entice everyone to regularly play an out of region P5 school OOC.

UGA could develop a steady OOC rivalry with someone like Notre Dame, Colorado, or Oklahoma in addition to keeping all the traditional rivalries active.

Here are the teams I would be totally opposed to:

-Oklahoma
-Texas
-Clemson
-Miami
-Ohio State
-Michigan
-Nebraska

All others I would give a fair hearing. Screw these teams though.

The ones that I always considered the "easy choices" that felt like easy fits were Clemson and Florida State. A&M, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, the Carolina schools, Miami and maybe West Virginia were all kind of the ones that popped up sporadically.

Arkansas and South Carolina were already here by the time this even began being discussed in my lifetime. I don't ever remember Missouri being on the radar.

I’ve gotta put in South Carolina and Arkansas for the same reason. After that I’m adding Clemson, FSU, and one of each between NC State/VT and Texas/A&M
