You do realize which QB plays for Ole Miss, right?

Should we would link William "low hanging fruit" Taylor Preseason QB comparison thread regarding Maxy Pad Johnson, JT Daniel and Bryce Young?

Matt Corral or Kenny Picket will win it.

Stroud has fewer yards and touchdowns than Bryce. He also has a lower completion percentage even though he isn’t asked to throw as much.

Matt Corral should be the favorite, but I'm sensing anyone but a "Bammer" vibe from this board.

People don't want to compare actual stats between Corral and Young because it doesn't fit the narrative.

Matt Corral plays for the rebels. There is at least one more regular-season loss, perhaps 2 with that defense coming.

He's average, and no better than Stetson. Would be a crime if he won it. But, there are really no standouts this year, so he has just as good of a chance as anyone, I guess.

Wait, earlier in the thread I read where Corral had the “advantage”, now you’re saying he “plays for the rebels”…both can’t be true.

Bryce will finish with around the same numbers as Mac Jones last year. Mac had the best Oline, RB and WR in college football though.

Oof

Other thoughts:
- Max and JT could become stars this year
- Other kid may need a year or two to develop
- LSU and Georgia are the teams to beat in 2021

Better QBR, 10.6 yards per completion (1.4 yards higher than Young), 12 less sacks. Stroud is more efficient according to the metrics. Stroud was at 250 and 4 TDs at the half last night.

Just because he doesn't need to play in the 4th quarter at home against mighty Tennessee to rack up his stats doesn't mean he isn't better

Corral had his chance head to head with Bryce and laid a turd. That'd be hard to overcome if he's sitting on the couch while Bryce is playing in the SECCG right before ballots are due.

It's about time to see someone else start getting hyped by the media... probably Stroud...but it's Bryce's to lose...and he loses it with another loss.
