Sorry about the game. That catcher interference call was brutal. But tomorrow is a new day. What story are you working on now?

Can't blame it all on that, LSU made plenty of mistakes and struckout 17 times.

That won't get it done.

I hate Auburn as much as the next guy but damn...

If he is guilty of hitting that, good for him and the millions he was paid.

If he is not guilty of hitting that, good for him and the millions he was paid.

And the Auburn administration could have tried having the balls to just fire him at the outset for the results on the field, rather than resort to the bullshite investigation to try and save money.

everybody keeps saying this.

The person that made the accusations to the "journalist" was a disgruntled former coach. Auburn had to investigate. He went to Oky St. for one year and decided to take a "break" from coaching. The most overrated DC I think I have ever seen.

I was hoping for a juicy expose that gets the cognitive dissonance russling.

All I learned was our zoom meetings with Harsin during the the job interviews weren’t high quality! And message boards are mean” but they’re not for real life.”

EPIC!

The first thing I would say is that I would ask different questions," Harsin said. "The football piece is just one piece. It's everything else around the program that really matters. You can solve a lot of problems by asking the right questions, not the football part so much, but everything else."

I was trying to find the timeline. This story broke right at two weeks after Mason left. I found this article I had never seen. Pissed me off even more...........

LINK

this really stood out to me...

quote:

Another person recalled one instance of a player texting Harsin to apologize for a poor performance in a game. The player asked for guidance on how he could improve. Harsin did not reply. Instead, he had the player’s position coach call the player to tell him he needed to leave the program, the person said.

quote:

"There are sometimes players that are going through personal things that (Harsin) knows about, and he doesn't have empathy for those situations," one person said. "Whether it be a kid from a single-parent family, or a kid who's going through struggles in life. I don't think he has true empathy for kids."

"How do you expect a young man to grow when you don't even talk to them," another person said, "or if you talk down to them, or if you tell them to get out of your office?"

Harsin hated the concept of name, image and likeness and made that clear to players, according to one person. Another added that Harsin was particularly critical of players from low-income families who received money from NIL deals because he thought they lost their focus on football.

captdalton has been a bit unhinged on here the last week or so. He follows posters around when he’s drunk and thinks he’s outsmarting them

Some advice for Harsin...

If you want to coach at a higher level than Boise, learn to recruit.

Freeze is 10x the coach Harsin was and it isn't even close. You sound scared.

After the horror stories I have read since his departure, I don't see how he gets a P5 job..........and I would be reluctant to hire him at any level.

I thought it was an outstanding hire when it was made. I.was.wrong!

ETA this is my favorite story........and I can't find the link

A recruit and his family show up for a visit. Harsin is working out. He finished his set before he acknowledged their existence.

Correct. Yet before all that still managed to not recruit, not talk with boosters, run players and coaches off. He did absolutely nothing.
