I'm all on the Harsin 2.0 routine as long as it gets under Bama fans' skin.

One's from Idaho and the other from South Dakota and both give off serious middle America Mormon vibes. Neither knows jack shite about the South and both have reputations as lazy recruiters who would rather let their brilliant systems win games. Bring it on!

It could be a real problem. DeBoer is a much better coach than Harsin but the staff will be an issue.

Auburn is not Alabama.
Average program vs GOAT program.

Both Harsin and DeBoer heavily benefited from what Chris Peterson left them to work with.

DeBoer’s team this year was mainly 5th and 6th year seniors.

Whatever. It doesn't change the fact that Alabama will have to balance getting SEC recruiters on his staff vs. him wanting to have his own guys. It's not an ideal situation anywhere.

I didn't even look at that angle. It is interesting.

He is going to have to recruit the entire roster and those already committed.

Good luck with that.

Washington reminded me a lot of those signature Boise State teams from back in the day, like the one that beat the shite out of Georgia in 2011.

Washington definitely didnt look as big and purtty as Alabama and Georgia and had a few linemen who were too stumpy and not the ideal height and weight.

Obviously recruiting and the portal will be the big thing for Deboer. Will he be a lazy or arrogant recruiter or will he embrace the grind?
