Great defense
Terrible, terrible offense with the starting QB out.

Especially since we play New Mexico, not New Mexico State.

We beat USF and Grantham is still our DC.

Our defense has to stay healthy. Our offense needs more time to gel and get experience. Florida in The Swamp will not be easy. I think the Richardson kid will be a big part of their offense.

I’m still hungover from last night but our team is fricking badass.

KJ was ranked the worst QB in the conference, but he’s shown for two weeks now he knows how to get the job done. He’ll continue to get better and better.

Needs lots of work, offense needs to gel. Defensive backs also need time to gel and tighten up in coverage.

That said, so far so good. Outside of major injury issues, Bama should in excellent position to compete for another title by end of year.

Very sloppy... Seriously doubt that it'll become a trend but of Bama plays that way against SEC competition(Arky, OM, State) then we can expect to get out asses beat...

No idea about Auburn so here's an honest assessment from surlyhorns

LINK /

----------------

I’ve wasted a fricking decade of time, money and hope on this sorry fricking program. frick this sorry arse athletic department that never has its shite together and is always two steps behind.

frick Charlie Strong, Tom Herman, Steve Sarkisian.

And frick you Mack Brown for ruining what should have been a dynasty because you lost a game.

I’m not wasting any more of my life on this bullshite. frick it all.

No idea. I have been boycotting rent-a-wins for about a decade now. Zero reason for a team of Alabama's caliber to be playing someone like Mercer. It's the biggest flaw in the sport and fans have been taking it without complaint until the last couple years.

Defense is elite. Secondary is better then expected. Jordan Davis has improved his game.

Offensive line is not getting decent push in running game. Need to find the right combination if there is one. If not fixed this will cause us problems down the road.

Really good offense but still slippy as frick. We've had 26 penalties and over 250 yards in penalties the first two weeks.

We are better than just about everyone expected us to be, but not as good as I want us to be. O-Line is our biggest weakness and even though they are better, you can't take a bluetick and make him a greyhound. We are a well-coached team but not a team that can sleep walk and beat decent teams. Gus is gone and its going to take time, we are going to lose games, but football is fun again, so its hard to give a brutal assessment when you're kinda' happy

Pleased with QB play. OL still a work in progress. WR's honestly disappointing so far. RB should be alright but the offense overall has a ways to go.

Defensively the team when healthy is as good as anyone. they might keep us in games until the O can gel but a consistent RT must be found and some WR's have to come on.

Yesterdays game was a glorified scrimmage. They played 3 QB's 4 RB's 8 different players caught passes more receivers played and Saban said a lot of people got to see action on both sides of the ball.
