Have heard he is expected to announce his decision by the end of this month. Al.com reported on the 9th he is ‘leaning against’ running (fwiw). But who knows ...

This seems very fast...does he have health concerns? Or some reason for this?

I don't support needless nepotism. Auburn probably goofed up.

Senate race
Though candidly I won't be surprised if he just straight up retires and doesn't run. The Senate may have caused him to rethink his plans and weigh what he had left to do, and he just ultimately concluded now was the time. Coming off a Final Four, helped Steven restock so that he's in a good position to make his mark w/ a good group, etc.

Man, I hope not. Already got too many Zionists in DC.

I think it's as good a plan as any. He's the best Auburn coach in history, anyone who follows will probably struggle. Hiring the guy groomed for the job who has been doing a ton of the work during Auburn's rise makes sense.
I quite seriously will not be surprised if Steven is quite successful. Moreover, if he was hired by an Auburn-comparable school on the open market I don't think it would be much of a reach at all.

I think at this point you don’t have a choice.

I loved him as a college coach who annoyed the media/academia with this stuff
I wouldn't really want him in a safe R seat with Israel as such a huge focus.

Well that's awfully convenient. Retiring near October "gee wiz guess you gotta hire my son now"

Steven will almost assuredly be no Bruce but he can’t be any worse than Bruce’s predecessors

Gumps might be the ultimate cucks if they elect ANOTHER barner to congress

He is going to be Tony Barbee level once the talent falls off.

Probably a good thing he steps down.....He was going to explode on national TV at some point.
