So this is the bargaining phase of grief and we've been through the anger and denial phases... What's left?

And the staff was so worried about his picture that they used it in a presentation to make an example of doing something stupid. They didn't excuse it, but the team saw it and laughed at him b/c they all knew it was stupid, too. Nothing he's done to this point will make him ineligible. Only a 50/50 chance Manziel can say the same.

what's sad is how wrong you are.
in 5 years, anyone outside of College Station will hardly remember JFF, especially if he gets suspended or kicked off the team.
he will get drafted likely waaay higher than his actual worth by some foolish NFL franchise. will be holding a clipboard for 2 years, then disappear completely.

Nah, it makes sense.
Non-"state" school in their respective state. Both Ag schools. Both have a great football history...only to be overshadowed by the "state" school.
And last, but not least, both have Heisman winning QB's who were/are involved in NCAA shite.
A match made in heaven.

I sincerly wish that "little Johnny" would be punished, but after the Bama game. We really want a crack at him. Can you imagine what would happen to this kid if he is not punished in some way, He will know that he got away with something, and he will really go wild. If he were to be ineligible for the year, and he sat out and then filed to go to the NFL, think about all the trouble he would get into, and probably never make it to the pros. This is a very slippery situation. If he's proven guilty and punished it's bad for the school and him, and if he's not, it can still be bad for him and what he is probably going to do next. He is just a spoiled little brat that just happens to be very talented, but it can be wasted, and that would be a shame.
