From what I can remember is OU wanted Texas and Nebraska to also have to play every year which would have been great for CF. I’m guessing Texas didn’t want that or both schools. It’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen in college football and that’s a huge reason why this conference isn’t the same. They should have done what the SEC had done.

Yeah the breakup of the big 12 was a travesty and the worst part was that it could've been saved pretty easily

I agree 100%. OU’s people made dumb decisions to during it all more so towards the end of it IMO. l love College Football and I’m a long time season ticket holder at OU and this last decade just hasn’t been the same for me.

Neb, Arkansas, Mizzou and Aggy should all go to the Big 12

You must not like the SEC Network checks.

The kind of money LSU never saw before.

LOL You don't get it that Missouri have been brought in for the T.V. market that brought in a huge contract deal to the SEC! Arkansas doesn't bring much to the table for their T.V. market!

Nah! We’ll take them back. I miss having that game on the schedule every year. Well before when the Big 8 became the Big 12. We play them the next two years though.

The Big 8 was one of my favorite football conferences. I looked forward to the OU/Neb every year and the UM/kU game. Always fierce contests. It’s a shame the creation of the Big 12 ruined that very stable conference.

St. Louis market is the Cards and Blues....KC market is Royals and Chiefs...Neither city gives a shite about Mizzou football.

Mizzou fans may be the #1 haters of kU but UK fans are definitely second.

Missouri overall is a pretty conservative state, retarded to judge them by some fruity professors who can be found at any campus

I guess you know Missourians! There was a lot of bad things going on in the last 4 years that was hurting Mizzou. Now we are pretty much over with all the punishment and the reduced scholly. This will be last one for the reduced scholly but everythings will be back to normal. The COVID-19 did hurt all schools. Why do you think Missouri was brought in to the SEC over WVU and others? T.V. market. Location was another key factor. East have way too many and now with Texas and Missouri made it more balance.

You must not have understand the reason for those that left the Big 12. It was all about Texas! And the situation favored Texas and Oklahoma. Before there was a rotation for the Big 12 championship game. Every other year for K.C. and Dallas. That changed to Dallas from now on. That is part of the reason. The other was money. More for Texas and Oklahoma and maybe Nebraska. Then there was favoritism to Texas and Oklahoma in getting the calls going their way. Missouri was given equal share of the T.V. money. Big 10 wouldn't give equal payouts for the first 4 years. So SEC was the next move. Nebraska went to the Big 10 with what Big 10 offered to Missouri. SEC is honest and fair and worth it to be in the conference. Location was another plus for LSU, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and both Mississippi schools. The east Florida,South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee. That is how I see it. Kentucky is right in the Middle.

Yep that is a smaller city and it is still too small to be a good T.V. market. Why do you like the idea of the Big 12 concept? Bringing one from nowhere land? WVU is way out in Northeast for the Big 12. Nebraska is way too far North to join the SEC. Both doesn't make any sense!
