A&M had 5 losses by a TD or less with a few of them coming down to the last play. It happens. Be thankful you got those W's because we sure did not. It was a grueling season of watching a defense give up 3rd down after 3rd down game after game with most of them getting the first down with a foot to spare. Just could not seem to get a tackle short of the line.

It’s amazing that people don’t look at the user names before getting themselves worked up. Sometimes the user name doesn’t give a clue about team affiliation. But sometimes, like in this instance, someone gets triggered and doesn’t notice the obvious.

Im not saying that Saban going 7-6 in 2006 was some great accomplishment, but that roster he was working with was total garbage. It was half walk-ons and half 3 stars that had been rejected by other SEC schools. Outside of Andre Smith and Wallace Gilberry, there was no starter that spent any time in the NFL at all.
Theres no comparing that team and 2022 LSU.
