This has to be the strategy. The way we give up HR's he could double his totals in one weekend.

I am pleased how he was held down last night.

1-4

His 4 ABs:
-Ground into a double play
-Leadoff single that eventually scored
-Pop Out
-Pop Out

Now to try and replicate that over the next two.

Exhibit B- this thread was created by an Aggie, and it serves to praise Rooker's season stats

Exhibit C - An Aggie thought it would be cool to post "Who?" in the thread about the best player in the country, which got me in the thread to begin with

2 of his outs last night were ripped hard

One was a hard line drive, the other the 3rd basemen made a helluva play

There has been some small regressing as of late

They are pitching differently to him going outside with fastballs etc hoping he swings, and if he walks they figure it's just as well.

He is now learning how they will pitch to him. He will be back on fire soon. Mark it!

He definitely went through a rough patch. After his homerun in game 1 against USCe, their ace struck him out several times in a row and it changed how he was being pitched too.

He was chasing some pretty bad pitches tailing low and away for about 6 games but seems to have figured that out. Hopefully he is setting up for a big end of the season run.

He went 2-3 in game two with 2 doubles and 2 intentional walks.

3-7 so far in the series.

Your reliever did strike him out though.
