That's fine, just dont see them making up a blatant lie like that since it would be so easy to verify if he's been in school or not.
People can miss school for a variety of reasons. Maybe he is sick, maybe he is tired of being asked about recruiting everyday. It is just speculation to say the kid isn't in school so his dad must be making him stay home.

Maybe reading comprehension isn't your strong point. Clearly, my feeling bad for the kid is b/c he's being pulled in two separate directions by two of the most rabid fanbases in CFB.
I wasn't implying Bama is doing this to him.

If he's at home and just chillin surfing the web, well, i'm sure threads like this aren't helping your chances.

I seriously doubt he typed that himself. Option A, his dad typed it. Option B, someone from the REC with internet service.

why have you had to say a million times that you're not emotionally attached to these highschool kids?
Most of the time it was said in the front of a jury. He no longer can live across from schools.J/K

You and I read that the same way. it is as if he's saying, "look, I'm good. let me get my mind right on this and then I'll let you know, but until then don't worry about me b/c rumors aren't accurate"
I hope he goes where he wants to and will be most happy. Everyone assumes AU, but I think it is really up in the air. I think of it like this - He was committed to Bama for a year and a half. He has been committed to AU for 3 weeks. It is like any other High School relationship. He broke up with someone after a year and a half, but no one should be suprised if they "get back together".

The difference between "allowing one to make a decision" and "forcing one to make a decision".

Well, all I can hope for is Stockholm syndrome...those holding him hostage are UA fans.

You left out option C - his dad typed it at an REC meeting.

Man, Beaver. Every time you post you seem more and more like a cool, logical dude. Are you sure you aren't a bama fan?

I'm just glad to finally see some real parenting going on in the recruiting process. I hope I'm like that one day.

Think about the courage it would take for Calloway to sign with Auburn. Amazing really.
