I'm not talking about the people in those red counties. The map doesn't account for population density. When a county does not have a dense population, that means that it has an abundance of uninhabited land, pastures, or farms. Land, pastures, and farms don't vote, so why is all this empty land being used as "proof" that Trump won in some kind of landslide?

If only there was a political board

Some are trolls just wanting to fan the flames and watch everything burn, but this board does seem to have more hard line leftists. I think it’s because more actual college students post here than some of the other boards. No way to know for sure, but when I was in school it was the leftists on campus that spent their time online between protesting whatever they were outraged about that week.

I think this characterization falls flat to the middle of the country. The only people who see Trump and go "evil evil man!" are batshit leftists. Most people see him and go "what the frick is this guy talking about, he's hilarious and ridiculous."

Left did the same thing with W, of course. He was simultaneously made out to be an idiot buffoon but we were also told he was an evil, bloodthirsty war criminal. That didn't play for independents/moderates either.
