Will that qualify for playoffs in time
They need to push playoffs back

Sec needs to drop down to 8 games otherwise might get screwed in playoff selections

Glad they figured out how to stop the health risks.

Assuming they play every week they will finish season on December 19th, which would be in time.

frick that, if they don't even consider SEC teams for the playoff then the National Champion is the SEC champion.

The playoff needs to move to a field of 8 for 2020 or this is going to be a huge mess.

If one of those teams goes undefeated and gets in over a one loss SEC team it will be an absolute robbery.

That will not happen. I think the people on this board are really letting fear cloud their minds. The committee absolutely above all values strength of schedule and wins. The PAC teams will not have them.

The playoff has already had multiple SEC teams in, even in a year without COVID.

with everyone playing less games, they can't really use the number of games as an excuse. would be a fun experiment.

Pac 12 is playing 7 games.

This is going to be a fricking mess trying to select the playoff teams.

Oh yes, because nothing says football like 40-50 degrees and raining. (Washington and Oregon weather during that time period because, let's face it, UW and Oregon are the only two teams with any shot at winning the conference)

30% fewer games. They shouldn’t even be eligible for the CFB Playoffs.

As a PAC 12 fan, I pretty much concur.

It probably will sort itself out anyway.

At this point delay the playoff and let every conference get 9-10 conference games in. Use one of the extra weeks and force the SEC and ACC to play non conference games to restore the lost rivalries
