Is LSU having to pay his full buyout? Isn't it something like $4.6 mil or something? That's a pretty big buyout for a DC.

ETA: But props to you guys. Pelini definitely needed to go.

You still think he was the one who hired Brady?

Who else do you think made the hire?

Higher ups who don't trust Ed's judgement, just like you distrust him reaching into the old boy network of pals.

Ed's a figurehead who cheerleads his team, but not the sharpest tool in the shed when discovering personnel.

Why didn’t “higher ups” make the other hires?

Do you believe that they also hired Matt Canada?

Can you imagine O and Muschamp on the same sideline??? Wonder what the odds would be on who would damage more headsets during a tantrum lol

Joe Brady isn't young? Kevin Faulk is only 44. That's relatively young for a coach.

Brady long gone - and the news is out about your coach. Don’t expect another with the boosters threatening his job.

Matt Canada wasn't part of Orgeron’s good ole boy network and he didn't fit at all. If the higher upside made that hire, why would they force another hire on him. If the higher ups forced Canada and Brady him, why would they allow him to promote Ensminger?
