Shouldn't you be asking yourself these questions?

Isn't it something like $4.6 mil or something? That's a pretty big buyout for a DC.

quote:

Pelini's buyout equals the total amount of base salary and compensation left in his contract. If he's fired without cause in his first year, LSU would owe him about $6.9 million; if he's fired without cause in his second year, about $4.6 million; and his buyout would be about $2.3 million in his final year.

It's been a full season. Unless you're playing in a bowl I haven't heard about.

Yep, Orgeron has a career built on making sound decisions, discernment, wisdom, IQ, thus making quality hires.

You really think he holds the keys to the program? I think he's got a cabinet around him to help.

Did you miss the no bowl part conveniently? No bowls since Brady left.

It's completely the opposite which is why he's only hired two quality assistants in his 4 years at LSU. You're arguing against your own point.

Oh I got the sarcasm and it was fitting. But, you're arguing that Orgeron isn't allowed to make hires because he sucks when there have only been 2 good hires made in his 4 years here. The hires prove more that he is making the hires than he isn't.

Wasn't he hired sometime last January? If so, I'm guessing LSU owes him $6.9 mil? Man, that's a hell of a buyout for a DC. But I guess LSU has to do what they have to do.

Man, I wish I could get fired for $6.9 mil. Hell I'd take $4.6 mil and be the happiest unemployed dude around.
