Correct, its been like this for a few years. I think basically all they are allowed to do is hear how the agent is going to good for him, no specifics or contact info

Talk about batting 0.000. Alabama conducted and internal investigation, and the results of that caused them to "accept" his resignation. Homeboy was fired. I guess you think Hugh Freeze "resigned" too?

Him paying a recruit or player is TOTAL speculation at this point. Him steering a former player is not a violation. And there's no evidence he steered a recruit. There's speculation about Sexton, who hasn't played a game yet. Your reading comprehension is worse than that of my 5 year old.

For the millionth time....Chuck Person did not pay a recruit. Chuck Person gave two current players families money. He was trying to steer them to a money manager and a clothing guy.

Alabama and Auburn Thelma and Louise'ing this shite

OVER BASKETBALL. Not football. Not the sport we all go nuts for. We've got a suicide pact over BASKETBALL.

Did not see that one coming.

Unless there's a whole lot more revealed in the future, neither Alabama nor Auburn are going be be seriously harmed by this situation.

I'll repeat an analogy I used over on the Bama board because I think it fits perfectly.

Based on what we know thus far, Alabama has stepped in dog shait. Auburn has stepped in dog shait and tracked it into the house. Louisville has fallen into the septic tank.

We (and Auburn) are just going to have to clean our shoes and maybe mop the floor. Nothing more.

Fair enough, noted.

you dont, not accept resignations.

Homeboy was fired

no exactly like your previous statement and all of mine, he resigned. He probably would have been fired, but he resigned

thats great and all then you followed it with this

Just to help you out on your reading comprehension since you are projecting here

"no it isnt" was in response to your statement "that is speculation" about my quote that it is an NCAA violation.

An AD taking money to steer a player/recruit to an agent is an NCAA violation. Whether he actually did or not achieve his end goal(steering player) means nothing in his regards. your little rant that went beyond that has nothing to do with my statements, so please up your reading comprehension. it is severely lacking

The raid came like two days after the FBI made it clear they have been monitoring the actions of a bammer basketball staffer and Collin's Sexton's family. But I am sure that is all just one big coincidence

Please just go back to your shitty little thread and leave this one alone

If our only exposure is Sexton, then he's never played a game. The AAU angle involves so many kids, I don't know how you could ever follow all of those tentacles. Even if you could, I don't think it would bother Bama too much. It isn't like we've been loading up on top-100s.

Bammer has signed 4 or 5 top 100 players in the last two years. About the same length as the FBI investigation. That is more than most teams

What if I told you Auburn signed 5, Phan?
