So because Miles grabbed the weapon first he didnt deliver the weapon to the scene?
He certainly didn't hand a firearm to a drug dealing shooter, entirely unlike Jamea.

Could be worse. He could be forced to be an Auburn football fan for eternity.

He brought it to a murderer. That's all.

He brought it to Darius Miles its legal owner. Who then got it out of the backseat unassisted by anyone and then handed to the actual shooter who had no affiliation to Alabama or the basketball team.

Quite possibly a justifiable homicider, since it appears team jeep shot first

I haven’t been following this but are you saying the guy could get off ? Imagine the melts from these Auburn racists if that happens lol.

Guy owned the gun. Asked Miller to bring him his gun. Miller did. Nothing illegal.
You are probably correct on the criminal side. Miller’s big problem could be on the civil side if the verdict comes in for murder/manslaughter. He could be held to some level of responsibility in a wrongful death civil case. And you know lawyers will look to see who has the ability to pay.

Of course this loser started this thread.
By no metric did the prosecution meet a burden of proof in this case.

The family already sued and it was already settled out of court. The corrupt judge in this trial refused to allow the defense to bring up the fact that the family dropped the thug boyfriend from the lawsuit right before it was settled.
Very, very shady legal process going on here, and the prosecution STILL failed to meet any burden of proof.

It's hard to predict what juries may do, but I can't imagine anyone believing the prosecution met their burden of proof.
If they can't get the actual shooter for murder, they might as well let Darius Miles out of jail right now and pay him before he sues.

Found him guilty. It's a crying shame. Hopefully the defense has enough to appeal.

Both shooters are likely guilty, one of murder and the other attempted murder.
I am guessing the video of Davis wearing a black ski mask running up to the car and opening fire was hard for the jury to ignore.
But, the Jeep and Johnson were the first to brandish a weapon during the initial altercation. And they did drive back around and pull up with the headlights off and window down driveby style.
And on the next episode of First 24…
