We have been a 8 seed twice.
Got Duke in the 2nd round in 2005 when they had JJ
Got Memphis in 2008 when they had D Rose

Last time we were an 8 seed was the only time we've been to the Elite 8. #1 seeds are losing more and more frequently in the second round lately, Pitt (to Butler) last year and Kansas (to Northern Iowa) the year before immediately come to mind.

Bama has a chance to move up to a 7 seed, but probably needs to win 4 games to do it.
I would love to play Ohio State. I also think we could give Duke a game, hell N.C. State did. I don't want to play KY or the Cuse. I think we would be OK against Mich, Mich ST or Kansas. NC would be a bad matchup.

I would love to face only Big 10 teams in the NCAA. I think Bama could do well against those teams. Not much interconference play. Arky beat Mich by two, FL lost @Ohio ST 81-74.
They play slow and physical which is the type game Bama likes. Lower the score the better for Bama .

what is state's remaining schedule. any chance stans can rally them around the chance to make the tourney? they were an absolute joke the 2nd half against bama. looked like bost purposely threw the ball into the backcourt twice.

at South Carolina, home to Arkansas. They should get to 8-8 (who loses to South Carolina?) and that might be enough, especially with a win at the SEC tournament.

I don't want Syracuse. Other than that, I don't care that much. I think we'll end up in the 8-9 game though.
