Ruggs had 400 yards in like 7 weeks lol and was starting to heat up. He would have likely broke 1000 if he finishes the season. It doesn’t matter though.

LSU puts really good WRs into the league sure, but the odds of going as a Bama WR with a Heisman level QB are way higher.

A rookie WR on a bad team with a bad QB.

I thought only bama fans got to use that excuse for their guys

Ruggs was a one trick pony who could run fast. Likely doesn’t mean would have. This is the same guy who would have 100 yards on 2 catches and then never heard from until 3-4 weeks later. I’m not sure he was consistent enough to do that.

LSU puts equally as good or better WRs in the league. That’s not really debatable.

Boutte ain’t going no where. Book it. WRTS is a brother hood just like DBU. U switch sides ain’t no coming back. In case you haven’t noticed we grow em on trees over here. You guys just got a couple of our 5-9 wr’s. So what? They wouldn’t have played at LSU this year any way. We still have to find pt for Chris Hilton. Let alone those shrimps. We got four more coming next year. Shelton Sampson is hoss!
As for Savion Smith I mean Eli Ricks good luck with that freelancing sometimey moma’s boy. Bailed on mater dei bailed on LSU chances are he’ll bail on you.
Could you imagine the target Eli Ricks is gonna have on his head. No more love from Tyran Pat P Tre white Delpit Jamal adams. He turned his back on the greatest fraternity in sports. He’s a joke

It definitely couldn't hurt having a potential #1 overall pick throwing you TD passes.

Meh - I can name a whole bunch of top 10 WR's that didn't play with a #1 overall pick or even an elite QB and a bunch or WR's that played with #1 overall picks, including JaMarcus Russell and Joe Burrow that didn't become top 10 picks. If he never plays another down of college football, what Boutte did the last half of 2020 and in the games he played in 2021 and how he tests at the combine would pretty much determine where he gets selected just like it did JaMarr Chase. One more year, no matter how incredible, won't change that. Just ask Devonta Smith.

Uh, Smith came back for his senior season to play with an extremely accurate QB, set records at Bama, won the Heisman and played himself into a top 10 pick. If he'd have sat out a year or gone in the prior draft he may gone in the second round at most. Not sure why you'd bring up Smith to prove your point.

Says the bama fan saying Boutte is going there so he can finally be a first round pick.

Brilliant

You are being naive here. It is ALL about the money in college football now. There is no team or school loyalty, these guys are paid mercenaries looking for the best pay, period. They could not care less about winning titles, A&M's class this season is proof.

Because after having quite possibly the greatest year for a WR in college football history, he was still selected after a WR that played 5 games and another that opted out.

Jamar Chase says hello, sat out a year and was highly drafted. Bourse does not need You g to make him better. Bout te would elevate anyones offense as a great route runner and ball catcher.

Alabama flipped JoJo Earle last NSD.

Earle might be the most over-rated WR recruit in a while. He was billed as the next Waddle. I can see that he doesn't have near the speed or quickness of Waddle. He's probably a 4.6 guy with a little shake and bake but that's it. Definitely not a perimeter receiver.
