This is what we all love about BAMA fans. The humility. You guys just ooze of it all over the place.

Don't you have to be able to throw the ball to be a dual threat QB?

Hurts is more of the traditional "single-to-no threat" type qb

No, I think you just have to be a threat running either right or left. That's what Miles/Cameron taught me at least.

After some quick research, I can confirm that you DO have to be able to both run and throw.

Rhetorical question: if an offensive coordinator had no issues with alcohol... Would Hurts still drive him to drink?

Who stops Bama from being right back in the playoffs next year?

Sark....when he contracts booger AIDS?

Seriously, QB @ Bama is an issue. JH is not that good. QB play in the SEC as a whole is not that good.

I'm not saying FSU beats Bama next year, but the loser is not out of the playoff mix by a long shot.

You're losing Allen, Anderson, Williams, Foster, Robinson, Howard and Eddie Jackson among others.....Good luck fielding a team half as talented as this one

Roster has virtually turned completely over from first CFP appearance to this one and Bama continues to be there. Roster in 2009 (NC) completely different than 2011 (NC) and 2012 (NC) which were completely different than 2014 (CFP), 2015 (NC), and 2016 (CFP). Why is it going to be different this time?

Even if Bama doesn't get to the SECCG, they'll still get in the playoff.

Bama is the only SEC team that gets this treatment, a la Ohio State in the B10.

Step right up so I can laugh.

Like I said before the playoffs started about your 2016 team, all it would take is a team that could score half as many points on Bama as Ole Miss did and give up twice as many as LSU did. Turns out, Clemson did better than the former and not as good as the latter, but it was still enough.

If Alabama gets stopped by anyone next year, it'll be a team that can be really good on one side of the ball and not just totally inept on the other. In 2016, it would have been Ole Miss with any semblance of defense, LSU with any semblance of offense or any team half as good as both of those two in their strong suit. Fortunately for Alabama, the SEC was so piss-poor that there was no such team in the conference, so it took a playoff team to put together the right combination. A playoff team that lost to Pitt.

Not a Melt. Some one tell me who stops Bama from being right back in the playoffs? Anyone?

Talent wise LSU could, especially if they learn to utilize the skill players on offense and not just Guice. Defensively they can stand toe to toe with you.

Don't sleep on Auburn either.

I won't say Tennessee.....I don't live in fantasy land

FSU could frick up your season before you get going. You are losing seasoned guys like Allen, Foster, Williams and Anderson up front. I know you have some really good ones coming up, but Francois will now be firmly in place as the starter and will fully understand the offense.

From an SEC standpoint it's really only LSU and Auburn that could create problems but if you do lose in SEC play,I can only see one SEC loss...you won't lose to both.

Jesus can you bama fans even accept one fricking loss???? No. Grow up. You can't win ever fricking game. How about congratulating Clemson and shutting your traps rather than bitching how "the new season starts today", "we'll be right back next year". frick it's exhausting.
