I don't buy for a new york minute that Cam had absolutely no idea what was going on. It's more likely he's dirty and corrupt just like his dad than he is completely, unequivocally innocent.

Will not turn on Cam.... If it is found that Auburn gave him money, I will turn on that booster, etc...
I am not worried about Auburn having to vacate games until I see some proof. A BAMMER trying to build ratings is not proof.... I will stay with what the NCAA has said on the subject.

Unless Auburn outright paid Cam to play, then I think he will be fine with most Auburn fans. Cecil on the other hand.....

I don't believe that for one minute.... If the tables were turned and this was about my beloved Georgia Bulldawg Nation, I'd want him dead. Well, maybe not dead, but you get the picture. Hell, I was mad at AJ Green for Jerseygate and he's one of my all-time favorite Dawgs. The irrationality of the Auburn Tiger Nation befuddles me. I bet it offers their Psychology Department plenty of research subjects! It's like the Stockholm Syndrome...kinda.

ya, I'm having trouble with this one too. If I thought Cam was mostly innocent (didn't have his hand out to start with) then I could maybe see it... but all the circumstantial evidence seems to point to him shopping around till he found a place that paid well
If that's the case then you blame both teh player and the school... really can't just blame one or the other

In the end, I don't think that many Auburn fans truly believed Cam. They did at first, when they believed he and Cecil both, but after Cecil confessed, I don't think that they believed that Cam didn't know. They were/are just hoping that no one can ever prove any different, and that Cam keeps his mouth shut.

Only way I would garner any resentment towards Cam would be if it comes out that he took money to play at AU, or he says something down the line to shed AU in a negative light. Even if it came out that he knew about the solicitation at MSU and it ended up costing AU the trophy, I wouldn't hold a grudge against him, as I think it's a stupid fricking rule anyways and it's not his fault that his dad sucks arse. However, if it is proven that he took money to come to AU...frick him, whatever booster(s) were involved & whatever coaches knew about it.
