The League avg in 1986 was 410k

200k seemed small to me as well, till I looked it up.

What the hell was he looking at?

Tools are graded on a 20-80 scale with 50 being average for a major leaguer, 60 is plus, 70 is plus-plus, and 80 means among the best in baseball.

Many scouts say Bo had maybe the best tool grades in the the history of baseball, with his only weakness being his hit tool. Even then, many thought his hitting was improving quite a bit before he was injured. For comparison, Mike Trout is around 7 hit, 65 power, 8 run (will decrease as he bulks up), 4 arm, 7 field.

I don't see the big deal over breaking bats, I use to break bats all the time when I played baseball. I would break bats over my knees, heads, elbows. I can also bench press more than Bo Jackson ever could.

Not impressed.

Now that's a thorough scouting evaluation.
