That proves it....you are delusional! Why not go compare the 2 schools rankings and come back and tell me how that is? Let me help you since a simple google search may be too much for you to handle...88>55
Do you want to compare graduate degrees also?

Can you give me Trill's updated score?

So why didn't they hire Nick Saban and why haven't they been relevant in 20 years?

Seriously?
Big Choke Bob is what this year? When was Oklahoma relevant? Back before the SEC arms race right? Do you think he could compete in the SEC any better than Mullen's or Freeze.
Notre Dame? Did you forget 42-14 just a couple years ago? How about this year? They were 7-5 in a modified ACC schedule.
So no, I am not trolling just being realistic. Both those programs are living off the past and will quickly fall behind the SEC and even the PAC-12 unless they change things within their conference/quasi-conference.

Yeah they didn't win a national title in 2000 or anything. Not to mention they finished with a top 10 ranking last year and dismantled Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.

Yes

They played in the national title game. When was the last time Ole Miss did that and has State ever done that?

You're an Ole Miss fan saying this. Our greatest accomplishments are in the 1950's and 1960's. State's greatest accomplishments are a divisional title from 16 years ago and one SEC title from the 1940's. We both use those arguments from the past in the pissing contests about who has the better program.
Miami has won 5 national titles in the last 34 years but Ole Miss and State have a better program than they do? We've both had one good year and neither ended in any kind of championship. So no. Neither one of us are close to the program that Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma or Miami are.

You are missing my point. I am talking about the here and now. Today, both Mississippi programs are in a better position and making the right investments (in facilities, coaching & players) that will pay long-term dividends. Throw in the influx of money from the SEC network and national recognition you will continue to see the programs excel. Whereas with both Oklahoma & ND they are basically stagnant. So yes, even with storied programs, I would say that all 4 programs are about equal.

Furthermore, I am not a dyed in wool Rebel. Heck I am a guy who grew up in the Midwest when the Big 10 and Big 12 were the kings of college football. I would love to see Big Blue (btw I was accepted there but choose a different route), the Golden Domers, Husker and Boomer Nations rise again. But realistically that isn't going to happen. The best coaches are no different than the best players. They want the competition. They want to square off against the cream of the crop week in week out. You won't find that in those conferences/quasi-conference affiliation any more unless they make some drastic changes. It may be hard to accept for older guys like myself but the SEC is quickly going to out pace many schools. The only conference which is investing in coaches & infrastructure on a comparable level to the SEC is the PAC-12.

Of course, Finebaum preceded Bounds' comments by saying "Alabama is obviously the top program in the country, but how would you rank Miss. St & O.Miss'?" Bounds explained in great detail why he thought this and made sense, but he was talking bottom line, now, not in the past.

Well, we know your first link (licensing revenue) is garbage, because it doesn't even have Kentucky listed in the top 75, but does have Texas State, UL Lafayette, and Montana State listed, along with Delaware etc.
