good gosh, did no one actually see the comparison was from HIGH SCHOOL and no reflection on TODAY OR COLLEGE.

Dude may have been better in high school for all most know, i doubt many if any on here actually saw both of them play in HIGH SCHOOL.

Sorry dude, I had to take my brother to go pick up his schedule from the school. I'm back now, so you can continue your love-fest of TTsTowel. If I play my cards right you might even blow me E style.
FWIW, you don't need this:
because it's quite obvious that McElroy wasn't better than Manning. McElroy wasn't even the best QB in his own division in 2010. In fact, I would've taken Aaron Murray, Cam Newton, Ryan Mallett, and Stephen Garcia over him. Manning was one of the bests QBs to ever come through the SEC, period.
It's really pathetic that you actually believe all of that, you should just admit to "fishing" to save face. But go ahead and give me a couple more reasons as to why Manning isn't as good as the manchild known as McElroy, I won't be listening. WDE24 might enjoy it, though.

quote:Or Gmac gets killed as a freshman and sophomore and the numbers reflect the truth that Manning was on a different level than GMac. Can't exclude that possibility.
Extrapolate Gmac having two more years and maybe he gets even better in college or holds the same.

Exactly. Nobody can back up their arguments or their reasons for scoffing at my statement, other than quoting Mark Twain, saying it applies, or saying because they said so.
Gnar... career stats:
857 attempts. 8.28 yds per attempt. 56 TD's to 23 INT's. Nearly a 2 to 1 TD/INT ratio. 61% completion rate. 147.7 passer rating.
638 attempts. 5495 yds. 8.61 yds per attempt. 37 TD's 9 Int's. Nearly a 4 to 1 TD/INT ratio. 65.9% completion rate. 154.77 passer rating
In 2 extra yrs, Manning only had 219 more pass attempts.

Gmac.. he didn't lose games with interceptions, and he's won every game before. He's also throwing for more TD's per interception and more yards per attempt.
I've stated in the past, that there is no doubt Manning had more upside and is a greater QB since his time in the pros. But as a college QB, he wasn't as good a college QB as Gmac was. And for everyone saying you can't go by stats, how else do you judge a QB, except by stats and wins?

Is that what you crazy kids are calling it these days?
(P.S. Gmac's sister is in dire need of a fried chicken and pork rib diet for about 6 months. Maybe then she might not look like a twig after a 3 year drought.)

ok dont get me wrong i like Gmac but he wasnt the cataylst for the 09 team...that team was a run first team that dominated with defense and 4 yards and a cloud of dust...last year Gmac was exposed because he was relied upon more heavily...Manning was everything to tennessee
and im pretty sure manning didnt play with a heisman trophy winning back

His "exposure" set an Alabama record in passing yards(11 yds shy of 3000), interceptions per attempts and completion rates(71%).
Manning also never led his team to a Championship and like in the pros, he cost his team games with interceptions at critical times. Gmac didn't.
As I've said before:
GMac had better efficiency, TD to INT ratio's, wins and championships. He also had more yards per play than Manning did in college. Every conceivable category you can measure a QB in, favors McElroy in college vs Manning in college. I don't give a rip about the NFL and make no argument for GMac as far as that goes, nor do I have any illusions as to who is and will be the best pro QB.

"Hit it"?
If you freakin' touched it, she'd snap in two.
I think most Bama fans are attracted to her because she looks like her brother. So by liking her they can truly say no-homo.

I saw this posted on another site, but it is a good analogy of the bammer hype:
The baboon (Updykes), looks for insects(National Championships) under rocks and logs. This one proud, brave, baboon comes across a rock and lifts it up, sees a snake (reality) and passes out. When the baboon wakes up a few seconds later, forgetting the past experience, he picks up the same rock, sees the snake and passes out again. The baboon repeats this absurd action a couple more times before the snake gets tired of the stupid red-neck, I mean baboon, and moves along.
The moral behind the story is "Watching an insane baboon or Updyke do the same thing year after year and expect different results from them is stupidity on our part."
Every Year they are going to win every game, have the best player at this position and that position, have the greatest coach and so on and so on. The guy who said AJ McCaron reminds him of Peyton Manning is not the exception, he is the norm. The sad thing is the Nation Media have joined the ranks of the baboons.
When Uat looses their first game, they will pass out and when they wake up they will talk how they will win the rest and play for the NC. Then they will loose again and they will repeat their behavior until they are completely out of the race. Then, Next February they will start all over again.

She's an extremely attractive young woman. You've been watching too much gay porn if you think she looks like Greg.

All those stats are good but if you dont win the games on the field it doesnt really count for anything...yeah i know gmac won it all in 09 but he had a heisman trophy running back and the most explosive freshman in the game...what running back did manning have while at tennessee that comes close to those two...stats are good and all but intangibles are the stats you dont see and i think manning has them more so than gmac

She is some Texas skin wrapped on a bone.
I really don't understand how people find rib cages walking around on sticks attractive.

And stop deflecting your Greggy Mac wet dreams onto me.
