Does it matter? Mike White is currently near the bottom of the SEC college hoops coaches.

Example: Ben Howland is a much more "accomplished" coach than White, but I don't think many UF fans would be happy if we fired White and replaced him with Howland
Cal and Barnes are probably the top two coaches in the league when you consider tenure and consistency. Everyone else is negotiable. White's certainly not on the bottom of the list, although there isn't any dead coaching weight in the conference anymore (besides maybe Stackhouse, TBD) so that's exciting

1) He's from Orlando
2) We just had one pretty solid recruiting class and one outstanding recruiting class
3) He will be heavily featured as he is basically our front court now

If you can't see why Blackshear went to UF then you are blind.
UF is close to his hometown, plenty of PT at F, and a loaded roster returning. White has had success in the NCAA tourney.
