Why would a SEC athlete surrounded by medical personnel on a daily basis and with access to the most advanced medical equipment not expect to get a diagnosis as quickly as possible? In a matter of a few weeks? They should. Yet Greg Brooks didn’t receive a diagnosis for almost 6 weeks, right in the middle if of what your source says is normal.
Because he showed symptoms of vertigo, was treated with meds for vertigo, and seemed to get better for a few days/weeks before symptoms returned and they needed to find an alternative course of action?

None of them will speak about their own coach facing a similar lawsuit at Washington
Sure, I will. The kid at Washington didn’t have to relearn how to talk, walk and feed himself. He isn’t going to be a shell of himself for the rest of his life. He reinjured his knee and got yelled at by assistant/strength coaches along the way. Was it right? No. Was it life threatening? Also no.
As usual though, you try to make asinine comparisons like a brain tumor vs. a isolated slow growing skin cancer. Or a torn ACL vs. a brain tumor. Not everything is equivalent.
Another reason I don’t really give a shite is the lawsuit you are referencing is against Washington: I don’t really care what happens at Washington. Also, that lawsuit has not been on the front page of every digital news source sometime in the last 48 hours. That Washington player and his father weren’t on Good Morning America telling the world that Alabama and Kalen Deboer ruined their lives.
When you have to dig up dirt like that no one has ever heard about before it just doesn’t hit the same. Even most LSU fans are ignoring it.
So, now that we have discussed the Washington player suing Washington, lets discuss the Notre Dame player who sued Notre Dame when Brian Kelly was coach. If we are going to count the Washington suit as a suit against Deboer, than we have to count the Notre Dame suit as a suit against Kelly.
Player Suing Notre Dame Over MRI
quote:
A former Notre Dame football player is suing the university for allegedly concealing results from an MRI and instructing him to keep playing while he was risking a spinal cord injury.
A lawsuit filed by former Fighting Irish linebacker Douglas Randolph, obtained by The Indianapolis Star, states that Notre Dame did not provide results of an MRI that Randolph underwent after experiencing "numbness in his upper extremities" stemming from a hit in a practice drill in September 2015. Randolph played the entire 2015 season and later was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. He also might have permanent nerve damage in his neck, according to the lawsuit.
Kelly said after practice on Thursday that he was surprised by the lawsuit.
So, Kelly is in the lead with 2 player lawsuits.
What is it with MRIs and Kelly? Between hiding them and not letting his players get them, he must really hate them.

Why are you or anyone else so absolute on this? Nothing will change. LSU may pay or may not. It won’t affect your coach or football program. Because that is the most important thing here.
I do have some experience with this and the horrible impacts on their lives. So the family may be in the wrong. Or LSU may be in the wrong. What difference does it make or will it make? LSU has plenty of money so that shouldn’t be the issue. Why are some of you willing to die on this hill?
We're taking issue with fans of other teams being so happy that a former LSU player is suffering.

The much better question is why do LSU fans and coaches not give one single shite about Brooks and his suffering?
I guess it's all about 'da money.

Some people never fully recover from knee injuries, it could definitely alter the rest of his life.

So you don't care about alleged negligence if it isn't publicized on a national level?

What ever happened with that case?

Well yeah, most LSU fans aren't excited over your coach being involved in a case in which a player was potentially injured because of negligence.
I'd have never brought it up if you weren't so busy throwing stones from a glass house.

Sun God doesn't think Brooks can tie his own shoes, that is why he mentioned that, not me.
Of course, I don't think he can either. That you think he can tie his own shoes shows your inhumanity and lack of ability to display empathy for the disabled among us.
Brooks is not okay. He isn't going to be fine. LSU fricked him and hung him out to dry and LSU fans can't even seem to grasp the concept of being severely handicapped; all of you think he is fine.

That's pretty insulting to Brooks.

That's not true.
After reading your posts, we have clinical knowledge of how mental handicaps affect humans.
