The greatest ever.

People can argue between Jordan and LeBron for number 2.

RIP Mr Russell.

Yeah. He was the goat.

Wilt pushed him. That was my earliest knowledge of 2 NBA greats pushing eachother.

Hey, thank you for leaving me off your Mount Rushmore. I’m glad you did. Basketball is a team game, it’s not for individual honors. I won back-to-back state championships in high school, back-to-back NCAA championships in college, I won an NBA championship my first year in the league, an NBA championship in my last year, and nine in between. That, Mr. James, is etched in stone.

Always loved this response to Lebron leaving him off the Mt. Rushmore of basketball.

Didn't say it wasn't. That's why his family moved out of the south entirely.

No, it was a shot at La because you can't help yourself.

Wilt was the more talented player and he almost always outperformed Russell statistically. But the Celtics usually beat Wilt's teams. many times due to Russell's ability to make a key play at a key time.

Russell and Wilt were the two best players of their era and they played against each other routinely. And they guarded each other every time they played.

Greatest player in the history of the NBA. Period ! Exclamation Point

The greatest defensive center to ever play the game... made a science of shot blocking, and was one of the smartest, most competitive players/leaders to play the game.
