Well yes and no. If Newman plays well and Kirby evolved offensively, then Yes UGA has a chance based on the roster 2 1 to 85. However, they go up against one those other 4 teams who have a 1-85 roster that can match them personnel wise, then QB play and offensive philosophy will be the difference. The other 4 teams (with LSU new to the party) offensively are light years ahead of UGA, but, but, the 1-85 rosters are a 1-5 about a nickles difference (pardon the pun).

Florida will contend and probably win the East.
Nothing against Georgia, but I said while Mullen was at Mississippi state that he was the best coach (strategically speaking) that I’d ever seen.

Since we haven't don't it, I'm not sure we can. I'm going to have to see us do it.
By the way, LSU isn't winning shite this year. You won't even win the West.

You're an idiot. If Mullen is the best coach you've ever seen, then you haven't seen much. Smart has owned Mullen like a rented mule. Mullen aint sh*t.

College football has essentially become the SEC along with Ohio State and Clemson. USC needs to get the right coach in place.
It is the same for all schools that are not getting it done in last 5 years.

UF is certainly in the group. Seen quite a few picks so far to have us 11-1 this season and winning the East.
Georgia should be favored till UF proves we can beat them, but to claim we have zero chance is quite absurd.

Ok, cryptically written. If Newman plays well and Kirby doesn't put the brakes on the offense, UGA can win it all next year. Both have to happen. So what you are saying that even if Newman is a really good QB, Kirby is going to run the same offense he has been running? You don't expect him to adapt and evolve the offense.

Its Bill Bender's opinion. Maybe you should write him and ask him to defend "his opinion"

I wasn’t responding to Bill Bender, bottom tier internet user JKChesterton. I was responding to the individual who posted that as his own personal opinion, and I did, in fact, “write him and ask him to defend ‘his opinion.’”

The offense was elite in 2017 and 2018.
The whole point of firing our 2019 OC was to improve the offense.

LSU doesnt have to be as good as they were in 2019 because no one in the SEC is as good as they were in 2019 either.

I think you misinterpreted the comment. I think he meant no one in the SEC is/will be as good as LSU was in 2019.

Ok, I’ll bookmark this and we’ll revisit this later.
Coach Mullen has beaten an LSU team, and they held their own on LSU’s home field this year.
Georgia has played LSU the last two years, and each time they got bent over the barrel.

What the heck is bottom tier internet user, because I said write him!!!. I will admit, I don't do twitter or instagram or facebook. Never have and never will. how about you email him!
But since you asked, I would say that Alabama, based on recent history will have 9-10 guys drafted in 2021 NFL draft (assuming we have a season). I will go on record right now and say LSU will have similar numbers. Chase, Marshall and Racey Macbath at WR will go. Ingram and Decleus will get drafted on the OL. On Defense, Jacoby, Vincent from the Secondary, Shevlin and Logan from the DL and Cox, the Transfer LB from ND State (who was projected 2nd/3rd this year) will go. Todd Harris in my view, before he went out for the season in week 3 was LSU's best FS the last 2 years. If he gets healthy and plays well, he could be an NFL draft prospect.
So just an early look, I think LSU will match Bama or be very close in NFL draft picks next year. So the only issue is how well Brennan handles being 1st team QB, the talent is around him for LSU to have another big year next year.

You're wasting your time. These people seem to believe that LSU has no talent returning and the guys that will play haven't taken a snap yet and we will be running a completely new offense.

I’m not under that notion at all. However, coming into last season LSU was the 2nd youngest team in the conference. They lost 20 players to the NFL off of that team. New QB. New RB. Pretty much an entirely different O-Line. There is not a logical way to reason that LSU will be in national championship contention other than having a talented roster.
