In my mind, Peters hit a step back three to beat the lousy tigers for the second time this year. Refs made a bad call at the worst time. Whatevs

Lol. They can barely get 5,000 to show up in downtown STL.

SLU and Illinois have a bigger basketball presence in St. Louis than Mizzou. Sad!

They was equally bad calls in each direction over the course of the whole game. We got all the calls at the end of regulation. They got all the calls towards the end of OT. It was a bad call no doubt but a good game

I don't know man. An outsider probably has a better pulse of the city that you actually live in.

Yeah. One time they drove through St. Louis and a guy they worked with spent a couple nights in the Renaissance downtown for a conference and he saw two guys with SLU shirts on.

I thought it was a good game by 2 pretty good teams. Both played well. It was a fun game. Somebody had to lose. In all honesty, Mizzou deserved it and it really never should have gone to OT .

The refs were horrible all around. Equally so for both teams.

The ending stings for us, but it is what it is at this point. I'm just glad we seem to be trending in the right direction.

Miss St didn't get calls??? The game should have never went to OT. Miss St fouled Mizzou like crazy the last 1:30, should have had at least 6 FT attempts.

STFU about officiating

Wow did I rustle your jimmies?

I was not complaining about the officials. I was just pointing out that to win on the road you have to put yourself in a position to win so that an official can’t make a decision at the end to affect it.

We failed to do that and that is on us. Typically the home team is going to get the calls at the end. In OT, Mizzou got the call on Holman (imo that should have been a no call) and Peters. To me, the Holman faux charge was bigger than the Peters call. We would have been up by four then.

None of that matters as you guys won the game. However, Missouri will not go far if they don’t learn how to handle a press. Your team melted in the last 97 seconds of regulation, regardless of the officials missing a call or two. You still gave up a Twelve point lead.

I wonder if your guard’s major is Theatre, he definitely qualified for an Academy Award.
