I guess being a head coach for 9 years isn’t experienced? God damn this place is stupid sometimes

Experienced in what?

The problems faced at Arkansas State and Boise State are not the same as the problems faced by an SECW program with title aspirations.

Will Harsin be able to build Auburn into a national power again? Maybe. But there's not much on his resume to guarantee he has the skillset to do it.

Brian Kelly has been competing pretty consistently at one of the biggest programs in the game for a long time. I think that gives much more confidence that he'll be able to right the ship at another big time program than a guy like Harsin who will be taking on some unfamiliar challenges.

Um, head coaching?

Again, it's asinine to say that he's inexperienced. Not like Kelly has been coaching in the SEC either. Harsin also isn't 60 years old.

And an "experienced" coach like Jimbo only wins 2 more games than Auburn and LSU with several top-5 recruiting classes?

I’ll say the team that got skull drug by Texas Tech with their full roster

Im sure those kids that lost 35-7 to Tech will be so much better next year though lol.

Kelly has a lot of getting clobbered by good teams and clobbering the service academies on his resume

Disagree. We've all seen coaches who do well at mid-major programs fail when they make the jump to major P5 programs. Honestly, it seems more common than not.

Will Harsin succeed at Auburn? Maybe. But IMO he is inexperienced as a HC at this level of the game.

At least Harsin didn't destroy his last program while sneaking out the back door.

Auburn is one of the top teams in the country right now, has a 10 game winning streak, and a potential number 1 draft pick. What are you talking about?

Keep telling yourself that but College FB is king in the SEC and always will be.

Do not really care, not revolving my day around watching the games even when they are good. With the one and done and transfer portal, college BB was ruined long before college FB but Auburn fans as all of sudden huge fans. But Nick Saban broke football so lets not worry about it. Fact is if your team or school is good at something you are going to care and bitch and moan otherwise.

We converted a WR to QB for a bowl game and scored 20 pts and he threw for 3TD's. Your QB has been starting for 2 years and only scored 7 pts against the worst pass defense in P5.

We had our worst team in 21 years and still beat your arse. We could lose every game over the next 39 years and still lead the series with MS State.

Nope.

Sure.

Finally recruiting better, landed some solid transfers from the portal, retained several key players that could've gone to the NFL or transferred out.
