Nah it's cool, he made a thread to shite on aggy then spent two pages defending his obsession with a third party to the point of killing his own thread.

The ONLY reason this isn't SUPER weird af... is bc aggies are SO bat-shite crazy this doesnt even qualify as "weird behavior"... it's more like "well yeah aggies being aggies"... if this was any other fan base, it would be like WTF?!

That mascot in a nutshell explains why aggy will always be losers.
They can't see or think beyond their insecurities.
Incredibly sad and pathetic, however a fascinating case of how out of touch with reality a huge group of people can be.

As much as I dislike saying it, our fanbase deserves this kind of attention seen here.
I'm all for rivalries and look forward to playing texas this year. But when you put this much time and effort into scorning another school, you're just shooting yourself in the foot. You're taking attention away from yourself and giving it to another school.. good or bad is irrelevant.
Throw horns down when we're playing texas. Hell spend time/money on a dumb costume idea that is purely focused on ribbing longhorns.. when we play texas. But to do this year round is self defeating and takes away from ourselves.
We're not the only bunch that does this type of shite in college football, especially to texas (watch horn down signs for ou/nebrasks/ttu/etc in games that don't involve tx).. but we do it a lot.

Agree about the insecurities part. It's what keeps them from getting out of their own way.
That said, Aggies are actually great people in reality (for the most part).
But their extreme passion for their school (admirable) and incessant need for recognition and validity (unadmirable) make them do stupid sh*t
And for the rest of us, it's so much fun
