The AP or UPI didn't recognize 1942, and it clearly pre-dates the BCS and CFP. Take a close look at the graphic.

Same..would have guessed around 8 or 9 if asked(assumimg most titles were very old)...def would not guessed 3.

Congrats to every SEC school on this list. If you listen to the mouth breathers around here, you’d swear 3 more sec schools would be on here.
