The only place Big Phil stepped in today was the donut shop.

I don’t know why I believe this, but I believe Phil has some clout with the SEC. The Haslam brothers and Peyton went against him and lost.

If people have not yet realized that Phil is the real SEC commish, then there’s no helping them.

The Great Pumpkin caught Bama trying to cheat again with the schedule. Put his foot down and told Lou to frick off.

Big Phil keeps a wary eye on Bama. The rest of the conference should be thankful.

I mean, there’s a reason the Battle Captain was the first and only person to out scheme the REC at their own game AND convince the sitting SEC commissioner to drop the hammer on Bama while letting VOLS go free.

Phil is like the SEC’s irl version of Frank Underwood when it comes to politicking and back channel dealings imo

Big Phil got a little lazy the last couple of years but could you really blame him? He was beating Bama's arse on the reg and was 35-2 at one point vs. the lowly SEC west.

"The hang-up comes from Alabama who wants to keep 21 schedule in tact and plays 22-23 opponents this year giving them Vandy and Kentucky and holding off on Florida game till next year. The rest of the West is naturally against this. Florida has thrown up less opposition but they would be going with 22-23 because it does help them."

Bama the last five years: "Let's go to an all conference schedule!"

***SEC goes to all conference schedule***

Bama now: "Not like this!"
