Like the old saying, there's no such thing as bad publicity. Just telling it like it is.

The problem being is that Saban is telling it like it isn’t. It’s a bullshite ploy to influence elections.

Saban is an unethical, cheating POS.

dont understand why he would

Because he's a true blue lefty lib and stuck in a red state. He's been gradually showing his colors when he marched with the players for BLM a few years ago.

Saban is an American. Any American can have an opinion on politics. Be lucky we aren't in China where they kill you for opposing the government.

In a week, no one will remember this.

And that’s fine

Some are acting like he literally isn’t allowed to speak on these things.
So people aren't just expressing disapproval over his comments, but they're saying he isn't allowed to speak freely, or shouldn't be allowed to - as in, legally?

Yeah, I haven't seen that. I don't think you have either. Because it's completely retarded

I haven't seen anyone suggest that Saban should be fired.

I have seen people say that he should either step down as coach if he wants to speak his mind, or that he should keep his opinions to himself as long as he is the coach. So while they may not be advocating his firing, they still do not believe he should exercise his right of free speech, so the end result is the same. If you can't grasp that, there's no helping you.

It's a very entertaining thing when MAGA conflicts with fandom.
