sometimes bragging is OK but most of the time you Texans brag about shite that isn't fricking true.

and those mountains you showed are ugly as shite and in the middle of nowhere. so I guess you can shove 'em up your arse as far as i'm concerned.

I'm from Texas and I don't care about the mountains which are 600 miles away.

Texas has some pretty mountains, but other than a quick business trip to El Paso (which might as well be in Arizona), I never saw them when I lived in Dallas.

You're better off just driving to Colorado, or hell might as well drive to Arkansas.

Guadlupe Peak sounds impressive, but its prominence is only 900 ft more than Mount Magazine in Arkansas. A lot, but not an extreme difference. Mount Magazine is in the Arkansas River Valley and the surrounding elevation isn't all that high.

Plus you can drive almost all the way to the top of Mount Magazine and stay at the bad arse lodge a short hike from the summit.

The best prominence is Emory Peak at 4,500 ft, which is no McKinley (20,000 ft. prominence)), but not bad.

Rocky mountains > mountains with trees >> desert mountains with no trees.

Oh, and Mt. Cheaha is the highest point in Alabama.

Are most of those part of ranges, or just single outcrops. No bullshite. Just curious. shite is real flat here. Not used to seeing much above the elevation of the levees.

I keep hearing about how Texas is "flat." So, here's little something most of you don't know, as is apparent by what has been posted over the last few years. It's not your fault. Hollywood tends to perpetuate misconceptions (and most of you are dumb).

Texas is flat. Do humans even live west of Odessa? You could chop that whole Western ledge off the side of Texas and even Texans wouldn't miss it.

Austin and San Antonio have good hills. Balcones Escarpment FTW. The hill country is like a shorter, drier version of the Ozarks in some areas.

Can't believe you left off the only ski slope in Texas, Mt. Aggie.
I am disappoint, KS99.
33' high, with a 140' run.
