Florida and lsu have more championships than Bama and Tennessee or auburn and Georgia so that means lsu and Florida is the greatest cross division rivalry.

Comes on a sports message board, and talks academics when he admits he went to grad school before the Hope Scholarship boosted UGA'S reputation. Congrats GT fan in disguise. You lose.

Huh? I'll admit that the academic smack is Techish but with Auburn it's too glaring to resist. I'm only human.

As for this grad school before HOPE talk, I think you're confusing me with someone else. I was 4 when the HOPE scholarship was implemented.

Wait so you would rather blow out auburn 6 times as of late than have a Heisman winner, Perfect Seasons, and a Nation Championship?

Because he wasn't brushing off the blowouts he was just stating the more important facts when comparing the football teams.

Welcome to Atlanta, where the playas play. It's what the Braves, Hawks and Falcons have done for years. All about the regular season.

Florida/LSU yearly game

Let's look at some more data just for fun. Not saying the vs. Big 3 numbers look good for LSU. But I do think this provides a more nuanced picture. LINK to fullscreen image

I love how you conveniently forget to mention Aubies perfect SEC winless season from 2012

Georgia has had more consistency the last ten years or so in large part because of their coaching stability. Auburn fired a consistent winner in Tuberville because they were tired of plateauing and not meeting expectations, and saw that Nick Saban was building a monster at Alabama. He had gotten too comfortable and it was clear that Saban would dominate him in recruiting. Richt has won a lot of games, but coaches in a far weaker division and doesn't capitalize on it in the way many people think he should. The fact that UT and UF have struggled recently has amplified this perception.

It essentially boils down to whether or not you are willing to take chances on something new when you feel like the program is consistently not meeting expectations. Georgia's administration has chosen a more conservative approach than Auburn, and is fine with winning at that level. The fans may disagree, but on an administrative level that seems to be the case.

Bama 34 Viles 20.

UGA 34 auburn 7.

LSU 30 Florida 27.

Just the way I like it.

TSIO is very streaky, but I love the DSOR. People would be surprised how much intensity and hatred goes into that game.

It's mostly hate from Aubie fans since UGA's waxed that arse 7 of the last 9 times. You've also have to consider 5 other key elements:

1. UGA's their Super Bowl.
2. They're our little brother and always will be.
3. It's been a decade since they've beaten us in Athens.
4. All of the Metro Atlanta kids who go to Auburn are still very bitter for not getting admitted to UGA.
5. They know they have to pay out the arse to buy players to come to their sh*tty town/campus.

C'mon man real teams don't claim stuff that didn't happen on the field. I mean that's something like Ole Miss would do.

What happened on the field was a tie, but Alabama would have been blown out in that game if they hadn't played an ineligible player who incidentally had 3 picks.

But in the interest of not being like Ole Miss, who is done, it's over, I will concede the tie.

I understand. Bama beat us 35-26 that year, and it is officially a win for us in the media guide, but I saw the game and can't count it as a W in my mind.

So then we have 11 SEC titles instead of 8?
