Who knew there were so many OU and UT fans lurking around here? Now why would these fine fans who keep telling us how great the Big 12 is be so interested in an SEC message board?

Not sure I have ever stated the B12 is doing so great. But I do admit I dont think it is doing as bad (financially) as most people claim.

If I wanted to hang out in an echo chamber i'd stay on the OU boards only. I have about 4 non-OU boards that I read just to see other viewpoints. But I typically only post on threads that discuss OU.

aka tired of being owned by Texas. Can't blame him, but that's the reality.

A&M still getting owned, but at a higher and more stable pay out. Take what life gives you, no problem with the decision.

CharlotteSooner will argue about the big12 being on par with the sec until he's blue in the face. He has always tried to argue oklahoma and the big 12 vs the sec ever since the sooners beat auburn in the sugar bowl. One fricking game. He refuses to look at the overall record between the conferences and the sec national title run that has happened with 4 fricking teams contributing, not just one. He also refuses to admit that the sec has owned the big 12 in national title games where each conference was represented...probably because his sooners were the big 12 team that got their asses whipped on more than one occasion. He really thinks the big12 is equal to the sec and there's no convincing him. The truth is in the facts. The sec has the trophys to prove it, while all he has is his false opinion. The sec makes so much more money than the big 12 in football that it's not even close. Whatever, he knows he's wrong and just doesn't want to give the sec it's due...the best conference in the nation.

There was no such thing ever in the history of the conference period.

Not sure what makes them think we would take the dead weight of TT and OSU just to get to Texas and OU?

You have ESPN in your back pocket. You just brought in a couple of turds and watered down your league.

Your state is a dirty alcoholic mess. Why would we bring you uneducated midwestern nobodies into our conference?

No that's every other thread. This thread is about how the BIG XII is going to be the AAC/Sunbelt/MWC now because Bob retired n stuff. All of this, without noticing that they only have one great coach in their own league who's getting long in the tooth while propping their entire reputation up by himself, and they'd be the worst conference in the country if he retired tomorrow.

And you're only half correct. Mizzou now claims they left because of Texas too n stuff, not because they were hiking up their skirts to anybody that would pay them more money to suck before any of it went down.

If Texas joins the SEC and gets put to heal a little bit on their hunger for power along with adding 2 more Texas schools, OU, and a slew of east coast schools, splitting and seperating the conference could fix the divisions problem in the mid-south. No one ever talks about splitting up the conference it seems like.
